My Favorite Uses For Cardamom Oil Essential Oil

Like I touched on earlier, I use Cardamom oil in my everyday life all of the time. I like to make larger portions of my cleaning spray using three cups of water mixed with a half of a cup of vinegar and 10 to 12 drops of Cardamom oil. I add this homemade spray to my other cleaning supplies and use it to disinfect my hard surfaces, even my floors!

Since Cardamom oil has antimicrobial activity, I also like to use it on my kid’s scraps and small cuts to disinfect them. However, I didn’t want it to sting them when I put it on their cuts, so I diluted it first. I put one drop of Cardamom oil into 10 to 12 drops of water and dabbed it into my kid’s wound. It didn’t sting at all!

When I combine this with a quick pat dry and a clean bandage, all of the small cuts and scrapes heal nicely. I get the peace of mind that comes with knowing that my kid’s cuts are germ-free and healing.

Since I love the smell of Cardamom oil, one of my favorite uses for it is to create a natural fabric refresher that I spritz on my furniture and carpets. I mix three cups of water with 8 to 10 drops of Cardamom oil and mix it up really well. Once it’s mixed, I spray a light mist onto my furniture and over my carpets and area rugs for a clean and fresh scent that hangs around.
